In Loving Memory
Charlie Halliday
September 30, 2009 – August 19, 2026
A player, a teammate, a light.
About Charlie
Charlie Halliday grew up with a softball glove in her hand and a smile that could light up any dugout. From the time she first stepped onto a diamond as a young girl in Colorado, she found her home in the game and in the community it created around her.
She was more than a talented athlete. Charlie was the teammate who stayed late to help a younger player with her swing, the friend who made sure no one felt left out, and the competitor who played every inning with her whole heart.
Her impact on the women's and youth softball community in Colorado was felt by everyone who had the privilege of sharing a field with her. Coaches, teammates, and families remember her not just for her skill, but for the way she made the game feel like it belonged to everyone.
The Foundation
The Charlie Halliday Foundation was established by her family and friends to carry on her legacy. Its mission is simple: to make sure that every young girl who loves softball has the opportunity to play, regardless of financial circumstances.
Through financial assistance, equipment support, and community programs, the foundation works to keep the doors of the game open just as Charlie would have wanted.
